Baby Rabbit Attacked By Carrion Crow and Cock pheasant

As I arrived at the airfield this morning I saw something completely new to me. A carrion crow attacking a young rabbit, something I had never witnessed before, but to my even greater surprise a cock pheasant joined in. Why would a a pheasant attack something I thought they wouldn't eat? Was the pheasant reacting to the crows attack?

I had disturbed the attack and being the softee that I am, I rescued the young rabbit. I will give it the opportunity to dry out then release it a bit later.

Jugged Hare? Cuppa rabbit!

Doing well

Watching the Buzzards yesterday in the 25 knt southerly winds was amazing, I am sure that they were enjoying hanging in the breeze. fantastic.
